Calato Z is a leading stallion with an excellent pedigree, sired by the famous Capitol I out of the Landgraf I mare Vanessa III, Calato Z has a proven competition record with Danish rider Jennifer Fogh, together they won many prestigious jumping classes including the young rider Danish championships.
As a sire Calato Z has certainly proved himself, amongst his offspring is the great Coster ridden by Christian Ahlmann, Coster is one of the top horses in the world winning the 2003 European championship as well as many more big classes on the international circuit, other progeny of Calato Z includes international showjumpers Corinessa competed by Hubert Bourdy, Index ridden by German rider Hauke Luther and Callistro wo won so much with Janne-Fredrike Meyer.

This mare was purchased by Sandstone Stud as a 3 yr old in 1996. She produced two beautiful fillies one in 1997 by Cash and one in 1998 by Sandstone Laurinn. In 2000 she produced a colt by Sandstone Laurinn.
